RebornOS Updates 12/27/2020

Hello everyone! First and foremost I would like to wish each and every one of you a wonderful holiday season. From the RebornOS Team, we appreciate each and every one of you for your help and feedback to make RebornOS all that it is today. Secondly I would like to address some of the issues around our repository and website. In the first week of December we came across a couple of different issues beginning with the expiration of the SSL certificate which ultimately resulted in us having to make an unplanned switch for hosting the website and the repository. Thank you to everyone in the RebornOS team who pulled together during the holidays and rebuilt the repository and website from backups that we keep on hand for just this very reason!

Our website is currently being hosted on AWS and as we continue to restore the website, we will be adding additional failovers to hopefully prevent this from happening again in the future.

Our Repository is currently being hosted on OSDN and a new installer has been published that uses OSDN mirrors. As with the website we will be working to add additional repositories to hopefully prevent this from happening again in the future.

We appreciate the overwhelming patience of our community during this transitional time. Functionally for our users there will be no noticable difference. You can still navigate to as you always have and access the same resources that you normally do.

Thank you for being the amazing and wonderful community that you are. Hopefully as 2020 rolls to a close, 2021 will bring with it new opportunities and growth!
